All That Matters Is…..You Are LOVED

I must be honest here, the LORD has ministered to me, on multiple occasions with music. Anybody else? Please share if HE has because HIS goodness and faithfulness brings HOPE to those that DO NOT HAVE HOPE!! I remember about 4 1/2 years ago when HIS Word being sung to me and by me over and over were the only things that got me through the day… But God is good and HIS promises of Jeremiah 29:11 are true and stand FIRM..

 This world has heartache and we do walk through some of it during our time here on earth.  But that doesn’t define US.. Not in the least.  Don’t let anyone LIE to you and tell you that you are depressed, you are messed up, you are too broken to be made whole again.. All that is LIES!! Lies to steal away our true IDENTITY..  What is your identity?  Has anyone ever told you?  Have they explained that you are a son or daughter of the KING OF KINGS?  That you are a royal people?  That your Abba Father in Heaven is love and HE created you to LOVE YOU.  John 1:12 is beautiful.. “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God – ” 1 Peter 2:9 speaks of our position in the kingdom.. “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.”  Romans 6:6 speaks of our freedom.. “For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.”  Absolute amazing Words that bring life to our souls.

So lately the Lord has been ministering to me through Colton Dixon’s latest song, All that Matters.  I wake up hearing this song and I want to hear the truths spoken in it over and over.  My spirit testifies with my Christian brother’s Words of praises and worship to our GOD.  If you haven’t heard it I highly recommend you downloaded it from iTunes.  So here are the words:

Psalm 119:05 says “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”  Our true identity is HIS love, because He loved us first.  When we are dirty, when we are filthy with sin, when we are in the mist of it.. Jesus walks into that mess to PULL US OUT and offers us FREEDOM.  I just started reading Without Rival by Lisa Bevere and was struck by a sentence she wrote in it.  She says “Knowing who you are is vastly more important than knowing where you are or even what you can do.  Because He is your Creator, God has quite a bit to say to you about who you are.  And who you truly are carries within it the revelation of what you could be.”  L-e-t  t-h-a-t  s-i-n-k  i-n!!  So loved ones, go find out Who your Heavenly Father is because He will reveal to You who you are in Him!! And trust me YOU ARE LOVED.. Like Colton says, “All that matters is that I matter to You” and He is for You and Me always!
